ALWAYS iron on a HARD FLAT SURFACE (not a padded ironing board). Suggestion: a wooden cutting board. Center your design on your garment or other item.

Remove the white backing from the design. Place sticky side down on the fabric. (If not in the desired position, lift and replace on fabric).

Place pressing cloth between back & front of garment to avoid getting glue on the back. Preheat iron for wool--325-350 degrees.

You are now ready to heat transfer your design to your garment. Use a dry iron, NO STEAM.  Place a Teflon sheet or thin cotton pressing cloth over design. (We recommend Teflon because it protects the material and conducts heat better).

Place iron on covered design for 30 to 35 seconds--NO LONGER. For larger designs, move as needed. (If mylar sheet crinkles, iron is too hot). LIFT IRON--DO NOT SLIDE.

Allow design to cool for 20-30 seconds. Remove mylar sheet slowly while still warm. NOTE: If some pieces come up with the mylar, replace, checking the correct position. Reheat, increasing temperature slightly adding some pressure to iron. IF PIECES DON'T STICK, THE GLUE ISN'T MELTING.

Turn garment inside out. Place pressing cloth between design and back of garment to avoid getting glue on back. Press on wrong side of material over all of design with iron in reverse direction. Look for glue coming through to the wrong side. For heavy fabrics, such as denim, reheat the second time ON top of design.

NOTE: If design contains a variety of sizes

of crystals & studs, you may have to remove the larger pieces with tweezers before applying heat since the larger pieces will not allow the smaller ones to get enough heat. After setting small pieces, replace larger pieces in their proper position. Repeat heating process.  Be careful to NOT overheat large metal beads.

IMPORTANT: TEST YOUR DESIGN! Using your fingernails, go back and forth across your entire design to check if pieces are properly adhered. Now is the time to make sure the glue is melted into the fabric so your design is permanent. If not, replace loose pieces and repeat the heating process. Garment may now be washed and dried or dry cleaned in same manner as before. If pressing is needed, press from wrong side. DO NOT use steam.

Designs WILL NOT adhere to leather, imitation leather, nylon, velvet,

oil-treated, waterproof or rubberized materials.
